Working with the owner of a new business start-up, my role as a freelance copywriter was to write SEO (search engine optimised) page content with a focus on the company’s thoroughly researched keywords.
The client had no prior experience at all in website development, so I took the lead on the project from start to finish, advising on SEO best practice from a digital content writing perspective and signposting to design, development and SEO service providers that could help with areas that fell outside my remit as a freelance copywriter.
Keywords were identified on a page-by-page basis and I used them as appropriate throughout the site. The project was delivered on time and within budget.
